1854 new posts in Panchayats Taking into account the problems faced by people due to the shortage of staff in Panchayats, it has been decided to create 990 new clerical posts in Panchayats. 864 posts of Gramma Panchayat Assistant Secretary would also be created in panchayats that are financially secure.
